B.App.Sc (CompMed) M.Osteo

Shannon became involved with Osteopathy after sustaining a netball injury when she was younger; she wanted to move forward and help others as she had experienced. Whilst completing her studies, Shannon worked in several fitness centres and with a local football club where she dealt with a vast array of sporting injuries and the rehabilitation involved.

She also has a passion for animals and hopes to one day further her knowledge and extend her osteopathic treatment to include her furry friends.

Shannon’s treatments are tailored to the individual, encompassing a wide variety of techniques for all ages and conditions (babies to the elderly). She enjoys using additional qualifications to aid in her treatment including: Dry Needling, Pilates, paediatric training and taping methods.

Being raised in a sporting family, when she’s not at work, Shannon loves her triathlon training to compete with her husband and father, who have both completed multiple Ironman events and catching up with friends.

She enjoys helping her patients move through their lives pain-free and as functionally as possible by using a wide range of osteopathic treatment techniques.

Shannon is currently our only osteopath treating newborns and children under 5

B.App.Sc (CompMed - Osteo) & B.H.Sc

Matt decided on becoming an osteopath after growing up in a sporting family and seeing the results first-hand after receiving many osteopathic treatments for sporting related injuries.

During his studies Matt has been an avid basketball player and coach and has always had an interest in sporting movements, body structures and injury and rehabilitation processes. He is motivated to give back to the community and club that gave him so many opportunities.

Matt participated in a volunteer osteopathic internship in India during his University studies, stepping out of his comfort zone to broaden his knowledge.

He has a desire to further his knowledge into biomechanical processes and develop a further array of treatment skills to increase his ability to treat and prescribe individual rehabilitation programs for patients.
